So - is there some kind of 'Transgender Council Of Semantics'
I think most intelligent people who are attracted to Transgenders (or whatever term implies the MOST respect) see see something beyond the physical aspect.
Personally, and beyond physical attraction, I admire the fierce individuality and bravery required to transform as a Transgender must.
Think about how many people create reasons EVERYDAY to NOT do SIMPLE things that are the best for them. Exercise, healthy diet, sleep, etc.
Transgenders must go far beyond the basic concepts of 'self-improvement' just to begin living as they truly see themselves. Regardless of the circumstances, any Transgender must identify, understand and overcome tremendous adversity in every aspect of their life. 'Self-actualization' means so much more in this context.
Despite the confusion created by the absence of standard terminology, I think this absence makes sense.
I think any individual, committee, or consortiuom would be hard-pressed to establish a set of standard classifications for people moving through a process that is so obviously unique to the individual.
Male & Female as Genders are simply labels. Frogs & Snakes are known to change gender. Different specie of worms are are asexual.
These are TERMS - NAMES.
Trap, TG, Transgender - I still do not know what the correct term is for whom or why.
This is all about the ability to TRANSCEND, right?
