>I'm near Portland. When will you be in town?
This depends a lot on work. I'm with an NGO that relies on funding so it could wind up at the end of this year or later. It pays well so everything I'm saving I'm putting away towards this trip. Best guess is middle of next year, but could be earlier/later by ~6mo. Ideally I'd like to get over there in the summer so I can keep the riding pleasant.

She's tall so pretty handy in the turns, most modern cruisers I find squat and fat. Bit of nostalgia for the 80's Jappers, particularly this breed. A lot of older bikers swear by them for reliability, and I put down a lot of miles.
Not sure if I'll ship this over, hire or buy to resell. If you've got any websites to point me to that are good for buying I might check prices/resale values.
I'll more than likely pass through Seattle. Might put together a blog page people can access me through for contact, definitely keen to see these places from the local view.

I never saw myself travelling to America of all places - seeing as it already influences so much of the world it was last on my list to explore culturally.
Some time ago I messaged a person through a hookup site to chat and meet up. She was confident and brutally honest, which are two qualities I find deadly sexy. The reply I got was flirty, sweet and ended with 'By the way, you should probably know that we've already met.'
She happened to be someone I'd worked and idly talked shit with for three months, just two metres from my desk. She flew back to the US the week before. Poly, kink, attractive and athletic. And she'd already gone.
Six months later she turned up on a short-term contract and asked my partner and I out for drinks.
