I mean this with all due respect, but why does it matter that a group you're playing with even knows whether you're LGBT. Everything is typically anonymous, right? You're going to join a play-group and start sending them pictures and biopics, are you?
I've actually seen this question a few other times in other places, and it's always made me scratch my head in wonderment.
Why, in a modern gaming world comprised of digital anonymity, would it be necessary that a group you play with knows or even cares whether you're gay, bi or trans?
Matter of fact, it could be a bad thing, if one of your group/guild members is a sordid tranny-chaser, and now he's constantly hounding you until you resolutely turn him down and now he reacts to your rebuff with insolent rage, outing you to every other guild and player, ultimately embarrassing and you and ruining your further gameplay.
That's one scenario I see.
